UPDATE: Inexpensive Car Needed

Several of the Tent City 4 residents are trying to continue their education. One of them, Patrick, has saved up $900 for a car to get to and from classes, but he has not been able to find a good used car at this price. If someone knows of an old but reliable car that has a couple of years of life left in it that is for sale, Patrick would appreciate the information! If you would like to help Patrick drop by the camp and ask for him at the EC desk. Thanks!

UPDATE:

Patrick is delighted to have this 1990 Cutlass which he found at Pristine Auto in Kirkland for about $600. This will give him wheels to attend college classes beginning June 20th! One more step toward economic stability!

Other TC4 residents are also looking for cars, so if you know of a good deal, send a message to the encampment.

I wish to thank you all for your support. I bought my car 2 weeks ago from a dealership close to here and just got the tags, title and insurance (not in that order, or all in the same day, for that matter). There goes my G.I. stipend!

I start school on the 21st of June as a CNA at Shoreline college. After 11 weeks, I transfer to Bellevue to continue towards my EMT certification. After that, I plan to work in an ER and continue on towards my MA/T certification.

Just pray my clunker makes it that far! I do! Thank you all so very much :)
