We offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support .

TEEN LINE was created in 1980 by a group of mental health professionals who, through their personal work with teenagers, realized that a more inclusive approach to adolescent mental health was needed. After extensive research and consultation, TEEN LINE – a teen-to-teen hotline with community outreach services – was born.

Teens are available to help daily from 4-10pm Pacific Time (adults are available by phone at all other times). YouthLine is a free, confidential teen-to-teen crisis and help line. Contact us with anything that may be bothering you. No problem is too big or too small for the YouthLine! Crisis Text Line is the free, 24/7, confidential text message service for people in crisis. Text HOME to 741741 in the United States.

Depression hotlines are usually staffed with trained professionals that are available to you 24/7. They are a great resource for people who need immediate help and/or those that don't have access to local support and resources. You can take a look at the list below to find the help that is right for you. The following hotlines help you to seek support over the telephone. Below there are many hotlines, from those that can help you in a time of crisis to those that can help you to find services near you. The majority of these hotlines are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we encourage you to take full advantage of their benefits.

Teen Link Chat is a safe, anonymous, nonjudgmental, and confidential peer-to-peer support system for youth. It is handled in the exact same way as our phone line, but is text-based and online. We handle all chats with the same protocols and policies as our phone . Both toll-free, 24-hour, confidential hotlines which connect you to a trained counselor at the nearest suicide crisis center. Project Safe Place provides access to immediate help and supportive.
